We started using N-Drip on some fields where we have deep irrigation wells. Pumping charge was getting over 200 dollars an acre. It started being cost-prohibitive and N-Drip has saved us about 50 percent.
I can’t say enough good about them (N-Drip). There was a lady that helped with the rural development grant. They were all wonderful.
We just finished our third year with the N-Drip system. The first year was soybeans and we've had two years of corn crop afterwards and we’ve had great water-use efficiency.
Using the N-Drip system cut my energy usage in half and overall, it watered the field more uniformly and evenly throughout.
